I joined the PDHC’s Entrepreneurial Advisory Board to help advance glycopeptides and glycoproteins as first-choice therapeutic agents globally. Glycosylation is one of the most abundant and cryptic post-transcriptional modifications, and it will play an integral role in the future of peptide-based medicines. With my expertise in glycopeptide/glycoprotein synthesis, glycoconjugates, and immunogen design, I look forward to contributing to what will undoubtedly become tomorrow’s most successful therapeutic molecules.

I am deeply honored to join the Peptide Drug Hunting Consortium (PDHC), a visionary initiative dedicated to advancing the field of peptide-based therapeutics. Peptides offer unparalleled potential to address unmet medical needs, and I am eager to contribute to this transformative work. While the past few decades have seen remarkable advancements in peptide medicine, critical challenges remain—particularly my interest in oral peptide discovery and development, enhancing oral bioavailability, improving permeability, and refining translational strategies to bridge the gap between discovery and impactful therapies. PDHC exemplifies how collaborative, cross-disciplinary innovation can accelerate progress. This consortium is uniquely positioned to unite expertise across fields adjacent to peptide discovery and development, fostering faster knowledge exchange and collective problem-solving. I am inspired by the opportunity to work alongside brilliant minds dedicated to overcoming these obstacles and driving meaningful breakthroughs.

I am excited to join the PDHC’s EAB and contribute to the collaborative efforts to address critical challenges in peptide therapeutics discovery and design. Some of the current bottlenecks in peptide drug discovery require close collaborations between academia and industry. I look forward to working with other members of the PDHC team to develop and apply deep learning-based peptide design methods for translational applications.
